We are seeking Welders to perform arc and gas welding/cutting operations on pipelines, vessels, structural steel, and other equipment. Candidates must be capable of welding various materials in all positions while meeting ASME/BS welding standards and achieving high-quality welds suitable for 100% radiographic inspection.
Qualifications:
- Technical Secondary School education followed by 2 years of Technical Training.
- Qualified to the full code requirements of ASME Section IX (6G) or BS 4871 welding standards.
- Valid welding certification is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in general-purpose arc and gas welding/cutting operations.
- Experience in high-pressure piping and thick plate welding in accordance with ASME 6G standards.
- Proven ability to perform high-quality welding with successful 100% radiographic test (RT) results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform arc and gas welding on pipelines, vessels, structural steel, and related equipment.
- Weld in all positions in accordance with ASME Section IX or BS welding standards using approved welding procedures.
- Weld various materials, including:
- Carbon Steel (API 5L)
- LF2 Steel
- Low Alloy Steel
- Stainless Steel
- Aluminum Brass
- Copper
- Nickel Alloys
- Chromium Alloys
- Highly corrosive and high-temperature resistant materials
- Carry out cutting, fabrication, and repair work as required.
- Produce welds that meet 100% radiographic (RT) inspection requirements.
- Assist with:
- Hot tapping of pipelines
- Stress relieving of welded joints
- Pigging operations
- Follow all safety procedures and company quality standards.
