Responsible for supervising, coordinating, and executing the operation and maintenance activities of plant lighting systems within Oil & Gas facilities. The role involves ensuring reliable lighting system performance, preventive and corrective maintenance, manpower coordination, safety compliance, and efficient execution of maintenance activities in accordance with project specifications and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operation and maintenance activities related to plant lighting systems in Oil & Gas facilities.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Ensure proper maintenance of industrial lighting fixtures, floodlights, streetlights, emergency lighting, and associated electrical systems.
- Coordinate installation, replacement, troubleshooting, and repair of lighting equipment and electrical accessories.
- Supervise technicians, electricians, and subcontractors to ensure timely and quality execution of work.
- Review work orders, maintenance schedules, drawings, technical specifications, and method statements.
- Ensure compliance with approved electrical standards, project specifications, and client requirements.
- Monitor manpower utilization, tools, equipment, and materials to achieve operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with client representatives, project engineers, and other departments for maintenance planning and execution.
- Ensure adherence to HSE procedures, permit-to-work systems, LOTO, and electrical safety requirements.
- Prepare daily progress reports, maintenance records, work completion reports, and equipment inspection reports.
- Identify recurring equipment failures and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure proper testing, inspection, and commissioning of lighting systems following maintenance or replacement activities.
- Monitor job progress and ensure all activities are completed within the approved schedule and budget.
Educational Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Relevant technical qualifications in Electrical Maintenance will be an added advantage.
