Job Purpose:
To coordinate and manage all project-related activities for Kahramaa GTC works and Substation Projects, ensuring smooth execution, timely approvals, and compliance with KM requirements. The role focuses on handling approvals, manpower coordination, documentation, and liaison with Kahramaa officials for ongoing O&M, fault rectification, and substation-related works.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Kahramaa (KM) Approvals & Access Coordination:
2. GTC Project Coordination (O&M / Fault Response):
3. Substation Project Coordination:
- Support coordination for substation projects (132kV / 220kV / LV-MV works)
Liaise with:
- Relay Protection teams
- Testing & Commissioning engineers
- Cable jointers and fitters
- Coordinate shutdown schedules and work execution in live substations.
- Ensure safety compliance and documentation for all site activities.
4. Technical Team Coordination:
5. Meetings & Liaison with Kahramaa:
- Arrange and coordinate meetings with KM Engineers and Inspectors
- Prepare documentation, MOM (Minutes of Meeting), and follow-up actions
- Maintain strong working relationships with KM officials
- Act as a point of contact between KM and company teams

- Manage internally executed projects (self-performed works)
- Track deliverables, timelines, and materials
- Coordinate between procurement, stores, and site teams
- Ensure timely project completion and handover

Key Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Preferred) / Diploma with relevant experience.
Experience:
Skills:
- Fluent in Arabic (Mandatory) and English
Strong understanding of:
- KM procedures and workflows
- Substation operations and coordination
- GTC contract execution
- Excellent coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and documentation handling
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with KM Transmission & Distribution departments.
- Familiarity with cable systems, protection schemes, and substation equipment.
- Existing contacts/network within Kahramaa (added advantage).
