Work Location: Al Banush Club, MesaieedResponsible for the safety and well-being of the club members using the swimming pool and ensure smooth function in line with safety procedure and swimming pool rules, enforcing safety rules, providing first aid and CPR, and performing rescues when necessary. Attention to detail is an essential lifeguard skill. Lifeguards must be aware of what's happening in their zones. They must recognize potentially dangerous situations and work to prevent life-threatening situations to help swimmers and patrons stay safe.
Education, Training and Experience:
- Shall be secondary school pass and possess fluency in English.
- Shall have three (3) years of experience as lifeguard in International Hotel, Recreational club, or hospitality industry.
- Course certificate in swimming/ emergency rescue, first-aid and CPR.
- Pool and Beach Lifeguard Awareness Training Certificate.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Always monitor the swimming pool users.
- Ensure the children use the pool safely and in accordance with the swimming pool rules.
- Checks the housekeeping and ensure the swimming pool surroundings, toilets, pool deck benches are sanitized after every use in coordination with housekeeping.
- Communicate with swimmers of improper/unsafe activities carried out in the pool and enforce swimming pool rules and regulations and water safety.
- Ensure the behavior of pool users is maintained at a high standard and that unsafe behavioral issues with children are followed up effectively with Pastoral care and if necessary, report to the parents.
- Administers first aid in the event of injury, rescues swimmers in distress or danger of drowning, and administers CPR
- Managing Crowd Control.
- Performs any other task as and when instructed by the representative.
- Checks on day-to-day basis the Vacuum suctions are closed for safety.
