Qualifications, Experience and Competency:
- Engineering Diploma in respective discipline (12+3 years).
- 06 years relevant and hands-on experience in respective discipline, in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer industry and competency.
- Hands-on experience of the Work order part of EAM (enterprise asset maintenance) module of SAP would be preferable.
Instrument Technician Job Description:
- Shall have hands-on experience in troubleshooting, inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance of the following types of Instruments.
- Transmitters (Pressure, Level, Flow, Temperature).
- Switches (Pressure, Level, Flow, Temperature).
- Analyzers (pH and Conductivity).
- Vibration Instrumentation (Accelerometers, Velometers, Proximity Probes, Speed Probes, Proximitors)
- Valves (Control Valves, On-Off Valves, Solenoid Valves).
- Valve Accessories (Solenoid Valves, Valve Pneumatic and Electropneumatic Positioners, Pneumatic Relays, Air Regulators and Filters, Lubricators).
- Shall have hands-on experience in the usage of Hand tools.
- Shall have hands-on experience in the usage of Test Instruments in calibration, troubleshooting, configuration, and testing of instruments.
- Shall have hands-on experience in the removal, installation, and adjustment of vibration probes as per machine requirement.
- Shall have the proven competency and experience required in the relevant Scope of Work.
- Shall have basic report-writing skills.
- Shall be able to communicate well in written & spoken English.
- Shall have an awareness about safety requirements of working in a Fertilizer Plant.
- Shall be well versed with work permit system in large scale process industries.
- Shall have an awareness with PPEs used in a Fertilizer Plant.
- Housekeeping shall be done on completion of jobs / activities and ensures workplace is clean, tidy & safe.
- Record keeping in CMMS (computerized maintenance management system).
- Good HSEQ (health safety environment & quality) record in his past working.
- Read, understand, and support execute the jobs as per standard operating procedure/ work instruction.
