Electrical Technicians - Lighting systems

About the Job
- Electrical Technician: Required Nos 20.
- 5-7 years relevant experience in the Operation and Maintenance of Plant lighting systems (Oil & Gas).
- Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of industrial and plant lighting systems.
- Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various lighting installations, including:
- LED and conventional lighting systems.
- Floodlights, streetlights, and high-mast lighting.
- Emergency and escape-route lighting.
- Explosion-proof (Ex-rated) lighting fixtures.
- Indoor and outdoor industrial lighting.
- Identify and rectify electrical faults in lighting circuits, fixtures, cables, switches, and control panels.
- Carry out replacement of lamps, LED drivers, ballasts, fixtures, and associated electrical components.
- Perform cable termination, glanding, insulation checks, and continuity testing.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and lighting layouts.
- Ensure proper functioning of lighting distribution panels, timers, photocells, and control systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and report defective equipment or potential electrical hazards.
- Execute maintenance activities in compliance with approved work permits, LOTO procedures, and HSE requirements.
- Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and job completion documentation.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
Education: Diploma/ ITI in Electrical Engineering.
