We are looking for an experienced Cost Control Engineer with a strong background in planning and estimation to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost control, project planning, scheduling, estimating, and budget monitoring to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare project cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions.
- Develop, update, and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Track project costs, analyze variances, and prepare cost control reports.
- Perform quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Prepare cash flow forecasts, progress reports, and earned value analysis.
- Review subcontractor quotations, payment applications, and variation orders.
- Coordinate with project managers, procurement, site teams, and clients on project cost and schedule performance.
- Identify project risks and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements and company procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cost control, planning, and estimation in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and project controls.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
